"Turning Education and Training into Workplace Success"...is the mission statement at High Plains Technology Center. We are located in the Southwest corner of Woodward - mostly recognizable by our orange roof, oifield training equipment and the newly installed wind turbine and climb & rescue tower. We are a full service technology center with full-time programs involving over 250 students and servicing 8 area schools. The participating schools are: Woodward Boomers, Mooreland Bearcats, Sharon-Mutual Trojans, Ft. Supply Bulldogs, Vici Indians, Gage Tigers, Fargo Bearcats, and Buffalo Bison. High Plains Technology Center offers a wide variety of full-time programs. These full-time programs consist of Marketing/Management, Welding, Construction, Automotive, Information Technology, Service Careers, Diesel, Business Information Technology, Health Careeres and Practical Nursing. There is also a variety of short-term adult training available.

In the Business and Industry Services Department, we off safety classes, oil and gas training, wind turbine technician training and solar technician program. HPTC services local businesses and companies with safety classes as well as soft skills training.
