The Woodward Chamber of Commerce means business. With over 375 members, the Chamber is organized to advance the commercial, agricultural, industrial, educational and civic interest of Woodward and the surrounding area. The Woodward Chamber of Commerce work to create an enviroment that promotes a positive socio-economic climate.

Woodward's access to air, rail and highway transportation makes it a favorable site for manufacturing. The recent work on a four lane highway from Oklahoma City to Woodward is providing an even stronger transportation infrastructure for northwest Oklahoma. The $250 million project will provide a four-lane economic development corridor from Woodward to Interstate-40.

Strong work ethics and the quality of employees makes the workforce appealing to larger employers. Mutual of Omaha has found Woodward an appealing place to do business and has built its largest claims processing center here in Woodward.

The industrial airpark is a fully developed 720-acre facility with all utilites. Sites are available at no cost to qualifying industries. Abundant water, low utility rates, a five year property tax exemption, and free industrial and pre-employment training are available. The airpark has a rail spur from the main line of the Burlington Northern Santa Fe Railway and a concrete jet runway.
